С. 162-164Abstract: The investigation was devoted to the study of a catalytic activity of the iron containing vanadium nitride based composites that showed as a effective catalyst in the process of synthesis hydrogen with simultaneous in the process of degradation soluble organic pollutants. The the aims of the research was included the catalytic activity study of the semiconductor materials in conditions of UV radiance with the different systems of the soluble organic compounds. For this, the phase composition of the surface composite was investigated. The vanadium nitride based composite was received by the SHS method. The catalytic activity was defined in the oxidation process of the organic reagents. The value of the band gap for semiconductor compounds in the composition of the composite was determined from diffuse reflectance spectra.
