P. 293-300Abstract: The article represents the results of the research of the metaphorical fragment of oil and gas terminology in the Russian language from the perspective of conceptual modeling. The conducted research allows one to assert that the models involved in the process of the metaphorical conceptualization in the framework of the national worldview are universal. The comparative analysis of the metaphorical fragments of the Russian and English terminological systems showed the asymmetry of both the qualitative and quantitative types.
