P. 7100808 (1-8)Abstract: In this work, the change in the optical properties of the gingival mucosa in the range of 200-800 nm under the influence of liquids for electronic cigarettes (e-liquids) was studied by the method of diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The formation of three dynamic windows of gingival optical transparency in the ultraviolet (UV) was revealed. The diffusion coefficients of e-liquids of various compositions in the gingival mucosa have been estimated, which is of practical importance in the prevention of diseases and pharmaceutical toxicity associated with vaping, as well as in enhancement of the efficiency of the oral UV therapy.
