С. 308-312Abstract: В статье рассматривается эпизод из истории сибирского градостроительства, связанный с дискуссией о возведении дома-коммуны завода Сибкомбайн в Новосибирске (февраль – июнь 1930 г.). The paper examines an episode from the history of Siberian town planning. It was related to the discussion about the construction of a house-commune for the Sibkombain factory in Novosibirsk. The first project of this house was criticized for the lack of collectivization and socialization of life. Another project, designed by young architects D.M. Ageyev and G.E. Stepanchenko, suggested radical measures such as the absence of individual kitchens and bathrooms. Local executive authorities, state-party bodies, scientific societies, and the media supported this idea. The development of the housecommune concept was interrupted by the resolution of the VKP(b) in May 1930 which banned the construction of houses-communes.
