TI - Effect of boron on the combustion characteristics of metallized high-energy materials KW - добавки бора KW - характеристики горения KW - высокоэнергетические материалы KW - статьи в сборниках N1 - Библиогр.: 10 назв N2 - The paper presents the results of a thermodynamic calculation of the boron additive e¨ect on the combustion characteristics of high-energy materials (HEMs) based on ammonium perchlorate (AP), ammonium nitrate (AN), an active fuelbinder, and metals of aluminum Al, titanium Ti, magnesium Mg, or Al/Mg. The combustion parameters and the equilibrium composition of condensed combustion products (CCPs) of HEMs were obtained with thermodynamic calculation program ¤Terra.¥ The boron content in the mixture with metal fuel was varied in HEM compositions. We determined the temperature in the combustion chamber, the speci¦c impulse in the nozzle exit of engine, and the mass fraction of the CCPs at HEM combustion. It was found that an increase in the content of boron in the HEM composition leads to a decrease in the combustion temperature. The combustion temperature of samples with Ti/B and Mg/B additives increases in the range of boron content in metal fuel of 2032%(wt.) and 5 15%(wt.), respectively. The HEM samples containing metal fuels with ratio of Al/B = 55.5/44.5, Mg/B = 52.9/47.1, and Al/Mg/B = 37.7/37.5/25.0 have the highest speci¦c impulse in the nozzle exit; at the same time, these compositions form a signi¦cant amount of CCPs UR - http://vital.lib.tsu.ru/vital/access/manager/Repository/koha:000927196 ER -
