N2  - The tendency of modern materials science to create polyfunctional porous composite materials is shown. The methods
of porisation and hydrophobization of these materials are considered by introducing low molecular weight
 fluoropolymers in supercritical CO2 into the pores and creating polymer coatings of nanoscale thickness, which
 provides more complex composites with additional functionality. The microwave synthesis of porous heat-insulating
 materials and their use in modern technology are considered. The use of porous composite materials in the field of
 tissue engineering and regenerative medicine is shown, and the biological response of cells and tissues to the material is
 largely determined by the organization of the internal pore space of the porous materials
