N2  - Исследуется проблема гендерного неравенства в Японии. Особое внимание уделяется положению женщин в социальной иерархии, на рынке труда, а также чертам менталитета, оказывающим влияние на гендерные отношения в японском обществе. Рассматриваются действия властей,
направленные на преодоление гендерного неравенства. Critical problem such as Japan’s gender gap issue is examined in this article. Particular
 attention is paid to current women status in social hierarchy. with the addition of their
 position on the labour market. There are various mentality features of Japanese people,
 for instance, religious convictions that have an impact on gender relations in society.
 Those aspects are considered as well. The author makes conclusions on topical problems
 women are facing with during job’s employment and on the workplace in companies.
 Furthermore, actions of the Japanese authorities which are directed to the solution
 of the crisis and their consequences are additionally examined
