P. 675-687Abstract: Peculiarities of the formation of the phase composition of alumina-supported copper molybdate catalysts and their reactivity in the soot oxidation model reaction have been studied. Catalysts have been prepared by incipient wetness impregnation with aqueous solutions of precursors of the supported components, while varying the order of introduction of the components and their molar ratio and content. The catalysts have been studied by XRD, UV-vis DR spectroscopy, and H2-TPR. It has been shown that the phase composition of the supported samples and, as a consequence, their catalytic activity are significantly affected by the order of introduction of the supported components due to their interaction with the support.
