Медиаисследования 2020 С. 123-132Abstract: В статье приводятся сведения о цензорах первой томской частной «Сибирской газеты» за весь период ее существования — с 1881 по 1888 годы. Составлена хронология их работы с «Сибирской газетой», анализируются отзывы об отношении цензоров к своим обязанностям, приводятся примеры разных подходов к цензурированию частной прессы. Делается вывод о том, что благодаря лояльности местных чиновников и их невысокой квалификации цензура «Сибирской газеты» большую часть времени была вполне терпимой. The article provides information on the censors of the first Tomsk private «Siberian newspaper» for the entire period of its existence — from 1881 to 1888. A chronology of their work with «Siberian newspaper» is compiled, reviews on the censors’ attitude to their duties are analyzed, examples of different approaches to censoring the private press are given. It is concluded that, due to the loyalty of local officials and their low qualifications, the censorship of the «Siberian newspaper» was quite tolerable most of the time.
