Исследуется, что, будучи автором лучшего, в оценке Виктора Астафьева, литературного произведения о Великой Отечественной войне («Живи и помни»), Валентин Распутин редко и осторожно высказывается о войне прямо, в риторическом дискурсе публицистики. На материале публицистических работ позднего периода творчества предпринимается попытка не только осмыслить причины подобного умолчания, но и реконструировать авторскую концепцию войны (представления о взаимоотношениях на войне личности, нации и государства, исторических судьбах народа, основах Победы, природе и значении памяти, которые составляют важную часть мировоззрения писателя). The presenter proceeds from the problem that Valentin Rasputin, as the author of the best literary work about the Great Patriotic war (“Live and Remember”, in the assessment of Viktor Astafyev), is rarely and cautiously speaks about the war directly, in the rhetorical discourse of publicism. Using the material of publicistic works of the late period of creativity, we can not only understand the reasons for this omission, but also reconstruct the author’s concept of war (ideas about the relationship of the individual, nation and state in the war, the historical fate of the people, the foundations of Victory, the nature and meaning of memory, which are an important part of the writer’s worldview).
