С. 34-36Abstract: To date, colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a major health problem around the globe [1]. Tumor- associated macrophages (TAM) are currently considered as a very promising target for chemotherapy [2]. However in colon cancer the role of TAMs remains controversial. Thus, we studied the immune status of colorectal tumors and found that a decrease in the level of CD8 and IL35 indicates a poor prognosis and increased likelihood of lymphatic, but not hematogenous metastasis. Moreover, we have shown that IL35 is expressed in tumor-associated macrophages in colorectal cancer.
