The algorithm for computing of the cross wind transport turbulent distortion speed by the sensor measurement for laser beams propagating through the atmosphere is implemented on the basis of correlation analysis of the centroid coordinates. Correlation properties of sensor measurements are dependent on the characteristics of the intensity distribution in the beam. Studies of this dependence are based on numerical experiments.
