This work is dedicated to the little-studied B. Hanov’s text “Distimiya”. The hero of the story is compared with the
heroes of Y.V. Trifonov as the literary succession and the connection between 20th and 21st centuries prose becomes
actualized. The names, family names of the heroes and the name of the story are analyzed. At the end we will make
conclusion that in the aesthetic consciousness of the writer the modern world “threatens” humans by automation and
“depersonalization”.
