In the proposed chapter, another application of radio waves is considered – radio wave tomography – which is based on penetration of radio waves into opaque media and the extraction of information about the three-dimensional internal structure of objects. The theory of extracting useful information in this case is solving inverse problems using aperture synthesis with focusing. The efficiency of this approach is illustrated by the numerous examples.
