Томск, 20 апреля 2017 г С. 304-306Abstract: Today one of the most popular types of active travel, known for its mass character since the times of the USSR, is hiking. Walking tourism is chosen by travelers of all ages and professions. Variability of routes in complexity, accessibility and budget throughout the territory of the Russian Federation allows realizing the goals of any tourist groups. Noting this trend in Russia, the forces of public tourism organizations are implementing a project to create weekend hikes along marked routes. The relevance of this idea for the Tomsk region is multifaceted. The idea of the project of marked routes appears as a potential opportunity to improve the tourist image of the Tomsk region, has a socially significant background, fulfilling educational, ecological, local history, patriotic tasks, generates a culture of tourism in its native land, instills a conscious need for active rest and exercise.
